School of Fish is a 5-minute architectural projection featuring Plink, a little goldfish. This fantastic tale was custom-made for the StaroRiga festival and inspired by Latvia's Singing Revolution of 1988. Synopsis Plink, the little goldfish, plays in the depths of the ocean. Together with his community, he has learned to master the art of making music with unusual instruments crafted from objects found at the bottom of the sea. One day, a heartless developer attacks his community to plunder their resources. How will they react to preserve their small underwater country? How will the power of sound become their most precious weapon? School of Fish was created for and with the participation of Staro Riga, the Riga Festival of Lights (Latvia), in 2014. It has since been presented in 2017 at Illuminart on the Cégep du Vieux Montréal. It is a short film that is highly poetic, gentle, socially conscious, and family-friendly.
