Exposure

EXPosure is an interactive light painting installation accessible to everyone. It allows for the creation of a moving, reactive, and collective work of art. The system is particularly sensitive to light stimulation of any kind. The light from your phone, a flashlight, a candle, a lighter... your tools are transformed into a dynamic brush, creating streaks of light on the wall of a sphere, for example. By pointing the light source at yourself, your illuminated face is reproduced as a selfie on the surface, momentarily freezing you in time. Exposer and moonGARDEN EXPosure is an application that can be viewed on a plasma screen, projected onto a wall of any size, or onto a sphere. It has been deployed in Montreal, Quebec City, New Orleans, Jerusalem, Beijing, Washington, Houston, Gu’an, and Dalian, among others. It also complements moonGARDEN, bringing an interactive, dynamic, and highly joyful component to the installation.
